India N. is a native to Tampa, but lived in North Carolina for eight years, due to schooling. She has been in the child care field for over ten years and has experience working with all ages, 6 weeks and up. Before relocating back to Tampa, India was an Assistant Director, at a Primrose school. She has teaching experience, from 6 weeks to kindergarten age. India graduated from the University of North Carolina of Greensboro with a bachelor’s degree in human development and family studies, with a concentration in early childhood education. India is not only CPR certified but she is also First Aid certified for Pediatrics and Adults and she holds North Carolina and Florida Administrative Credentials and a Child Development Associate Credential. In addition to teaching, India has extensive experience caring for children, as a camp counselor, sporadic babysitter and after school care provider. aIndia has always had a passion for children since she was young, and loves building a relationship with the children and families.
Newborn & Infancy Experience:
India has experience with infancy through past babysitting jobs and child care center jobs. She has trained teachers on implementing infant curriculum and training teachers on the proper daily care of infants. India enjoys teaching infants about the world around them by engaging them in sensory activities and language development activities. She is most experienced with ages 6 weeks and up. She is also keen on following parent’s routines and providing strong nurture and love.
India enjoys spending time with her family, creating crafts and baking.
