Nyah is currently a student at the University of South Florida and she has years of experience working with children of all ages, from 12 months and up. Nyah was born in Canada and grew up in Mexico and Florida. Therefore, she is also fluent in both English and Spanish. Growing up, Nyah always helped with her younger siblings. In high school, she took a red cross training course and early childhood classes. She also babysat for local neighborhood families, during that time. She has assisted with date nights, after-school needs, homework assistance, driving to and from activities and so much more. In addition, she was a camp counselor for her swim team and helped with children’s summer camps. She has helped with a variety of ages, including siblings and multiple children simultaneously. Nyah loves to be creative with children and ensures a strong safety and engagement.
Newborn & Infancy Experience:
The youngest age experience that Nyah is comfortable and very experienced with is 12 months. She even cared for a set of twin infants, with heart conditions. She is experienced with diaper changing, bottle feedings and following schedules. She is also very patient and nurturing to not just little ones, but all children.
Nyah enjoys going to the beach on her days off and she loves anything outdoors! Nyah also has an affinity for cooking and can make pretty much any dish her friends and family desire.
