Alyssa R. has years of experience working with children, ages 5 months and up. Alyssa is a Florida native and currently attends the University of South Florida, where she  studies nursing. She hopes to some day become a labor and delivery nurse or a pediatric oncology nurse. Alyssa has vast experience working as a sporadic babysitter and as a part time nanny. She has worked with toddlers and infants, together simultaneously and has also helped with elementary age students. In addition, Alyssa has experience working with children with special needs and volunteers with Best Buddies and the Special Olympics.  Alyssa is a very engaging, loving and enthusiastic sitter and hopes to help with your little ones! 

Newborn & Infancy Experience: 

Alyssa R. has experience working with children as young as 5 months old. She has worked with infants  as both a sporadic babysitter  and a  part time nanny. She used to care for a 5 month old alongside a 2 year old, where she was responsible for following routines, keeping children safe and happy and providing strong nurture and love. Alyssa is very comfortable with infants and is very knowledgeable with routines and needs. 

Personal Interests: 

Alyssa R. loves to play volleyball and played for 7 years between middle school and high school. She still plays beach volleyball, occasionally, too. Alyssa enjoys going for walks and hikes and spending her time outdoors. She also loves cooking and baking.  Family is extremely important to her, as she is very close with her parents, sister, and grandparents, too. At USF, Alyssa is involved in clubs and she enjoys volunteer work.
