Amirah H

    Amirah H. is currently pursuing her M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology at the University of South Florida. She previously graduated with her B.A. in Psychology from USF. Amirah worked as a Registered Behavioral Technician to provide ABA therapy to kids with developmental disabilities. In working with kids with special needs, Amirah has hands-on experience increasing language and communication skills, and improving attention, memory, and social skills through 1-on-1 ABA therapy.

    She has spent her high school and college career helping families in her community raise and nourish their toddlers, kids, and teenagers. Her passion for childcare has allowed her to gain strong skills, such as responsibility, patience, and creativity. She finds joy in inventing games to entertain and stimulate children. She dedicates her full attention to the children she is taking care of while making true connections through her care and affection.

    Newborn & Infancy Experience:

    Amirah’s passion for infant care is shown through her nurturing and hands on fun. She loves to read books and sing lullabies to calm and provide a bonding experience for infants. Her joy of babysitting and nannying is demonstrated through her engaging activities with infants, ranging from games of peek-a-boo to the Hokey Pokey! Amirah has experience with ages 6 months and up.

    Personal Interests:  

    Amirah loves the beach, swimming, playing tennis, spending time with her dog, basketball and volleyball.
