Domenica N. was born and raised in Long Island New York, and is now on track to become a pediatric physician assistant and currently attends the University of Tampa. She is on the deans list at UT and is also the president of the Pre-Physician Assistant club. She believes it is vital to provide children with a safe, fun, fulfilling and enriched environment. Therefore, Domenica is very ecstatic to pursue a career in the pediatric medical field, someday. Domenica is not only CPR certified but also, AED, First Aid and water safety certified from newborn to young adult. Domenica has babysat children of all ages, from newborn age and up, has taught private swim classes, lifeguarded, tutored and worked at day camps. Domenica is an enthusiastic and responsible person and she looks forward to meeting you and your kids.
Newborn & Infancy Experience:
Domenica has been a nanny for one family for over 4 years. She started with them when their youngest daughter, Elle, was 6 months old. She changed diapers, created a sleep schedule for her, bathed her, and fed her frequently throughout the day. She also helped her learn colors, numbers and face recognition. She also worked as a mother’s helper for two children, from newborn and toddler change and as they grew. Lastly, she also cared for a 9 month old, as well. Domenica believes there is so much opportunity with infants, to help them learn and grow! Domenica has also worked with other infants from 9months- 2 years old at a day camp.
Domenica enjoys swimming and teaching kids how to swim. She also has a strong interest in learning new languages is also fluent in Italian and Spanish. Lastly, she enjoys the outdoors and going to the beach, in her oft-time.
