Kathleen W. is originally from Tampa and recently graduated from the University of South Florida with her bachelor’s degree in biomedical sciences and a minor in international studies. Kathleen has years of child care experience, from newborn ages and up, and is extremely passionate about working with children. She worked at the YMCA, in their nursery and adored every moment of it. There, she was able to work hands on with children, ages 6 weeks and up. She also has extensive experience babysitting for local families and assisting with all types of child care needs. She loves spending time with kids and providing them with a safe, fun and positive atmosphere to play and thrive in.
Newborn & Infancy Experience:
Kathleen has experience working with all ages, including newborns. She spent three years working in the YMCA nursery, where she spent most of her time in the infants section, with babies 6 weeks old to 12 months. Her responsibilities included caring for the babies, changing diapers, and engaging in activities with them. Kathleen has also nannied for a family, longterm, who had a 6 month old, when she started. She also works sporadically with many infants, from newborn ages and up and is extremely confident in helping with all infant needs.
As a college student, studying comes first! Kathleen also loves to go to the gym, spend time with her family and volunteer within her community.
