Lanie M. has an outgoing and loving personality and has worked with children, from 12 months and up. She is originally from Melbourne, FL and currently attends the University of South Florida, where she is studying health sciences. Her long term goal is to someday work in pediatrics. From a young age, Lanie has always had such a strong passion for working with children and has helped in a variety of settings, including babysitting. While in middle school, she began working at her local church nursery, caring for 12 month olds to 6 year olds. In high school, she continued to pursue her love for children and volunteered as a teacher’s assistant, at preschool within her high school. While working as a teacher’s assistant, she’d interact, supervise, and teach children from ages 3-5. She also worked in an early childhood education program, helping with after school needs. There, she would also assist children with learning disabilities. Lanie is currently a cheerleader at the University of South Florida and has proudly coached little ones how to cheer and tumble, from ages 3 and up. Working with kids brings her so much joy and she plans to continue working with children her entire life.
