Sabrina D. was born and raised in Tampa Bay and has been caring for children, ages 6 months and up for as long as she can remember. Growing up, her mother was a kindergarten teacher, so Sabrina had lots of opportunities to babysit her mother’s students. She has helped with before and after school needs, many date night needs and all day needs, too. Within her church community, Sabrina has experience volunteering in the nursery and toddler rooms, as well as the summer camp programs. Sabrina’s early opportunities with working with children, inspired Sabrina to become a teacher. She taught both secondary and elementary levels for over two years. She also holds her master’s degree in counseling and psychiatry. Currently, she works with teenagers and she greatly enjoys children and still watching them, as needed.

She has volunteer experience, within her church community, caring for infants and toddlers, as well in home child care as well. She thinks it is very important to follow a parent schedule and she enjoys teaching little ones, through sensory play, music and books, and outdoor engagement, such as walks (should the parents permit).
Sabrina D. enjoys being outdoors. She like activities like hiking, running, rollerblading, and longboarding. Sabrina would rather read instead of watch TV and in her free time, perfects her skills of refurbishing furniture.
