Samantha P. is originally from South Florida and recently graduated FAU with a neuroscience degree. Her long term goals are to find a career in the psychology field. Samantha a kind, warm and gentle sitter, who genuinely enjoys spending time and getting to know each child. She has almost a decade of experience working with children, ranging from 10 months and up. Samantha has worked in tutoring centers, aftercare programs, summer camps, childhood development centers and in-home settings. She has completed multiple certifications to work with children, including DCF 40 hours. Her creativity and dedication to children always shines through, while engaging children in games, nature, arts, crafts, sports and much more.
Newborn & Infancy Experience:
Samantha P. has worked with infants as young as 5 months old and feels most comfortable and experience with infants 10 months and up. During her time with infants it was imperative to listen to the parents schedule while focusing on the specific needs of the child. She makes sure to include enrichment activities for the infant to explore sensory and development activities. Samantha is very nurturing and caring throughout all her responsibilities.
Personal Interests:
Samantha P. is a very eccentric and crafty person, who enjoys a wide variety of activities, such as, painting, dancing, and enjoying nature. She also has a strong interest in education and experiencing different cultures. From trying new exciting restaurants to exploring museums and traveling the world she feels there is a limitless amount of life to experience.
